Remembrance Sunday
Because of Covid-19, this year the customary Remembrance Sunday Service around the village war memorial had to be cancelled.
However, we did not want the day to go unmarked and so we commissioned these two posters - designed by our Minister, the Rev Graham Cutler - to go on our noticeboard overlooking the memorial.
The military cemetery, on the second poster, is at Bayeux, in Normandy. Graham and his wife, Jude, and their children visited the cemetery to pay their respects at the grave of Jude's great-uncle, William, who was killed in the fighting shortly after the D-Day landing
